Nope. Any traxxas engine to 3.3 is 110.
I'm glad to see they're finally doing this for electric folk as well. :)

I was thinking the same thing, but if you look on tower hobbies Traxxas thinks their version of the MMM is worth over $500 for some reason.
I'd just keep my old esc to throw in another rig down the road and get an esc elsewere.
Great idea on their part but they could actually give us a discount you would think.
Traxxas's pricing is a little nutz I think.

Maybe it`s a contract/agreement with Castle that they cant go below a certain price. It`s also more that reasonable to think that Castle would protect their sale of their products

Who would want to buy a traxxas 3.3 for $110 more. you can get a better engine for a little bit more money.

Anyone with half a brain can figure out there are better pricing/options out there than going through the trade up program.

Trade in an AM TQ for a 2.4 TQ for $100? That's insane for a radio with no EPA and no digital trim.

Like I said, Traxxas pricing is insane.
They actually offered a deal on the nitro stuff atleast.

Ehhh, they're giving you about 30 bucks off across the board, which is what they did for a LONG time with the nitro stuff... 3.3 trade-ins used to be 130, which was only 30 less than a new one. VXL systems sell for what, 165? The TQ 2.4 is overpriced IMHO, but you still get about 30 bucks off anyway.
They just started doing better on the nitro stuff recently. Relative to what the nitro guys get now, it looks a little lame. I'm not saying it's the best deal in the world, but I really don't think it's as bad as y'all are making it out to be. If you've smoked your titan 12t and don't care about your XL-5 ESC, they're basically buying the XL-5 back for 30 bucks... That's not a bad deal really.
Also, my 3.3 runs just fine. Anyone I know who actually knows what they're doing doesn't seem to have trouble. All the Traxxas haters post a bunch of info online that apparently becomes fact after it's transferred around. We get very few warranty claims with Traxxas engines.

I wish that they could do a program like sending in you old vxl system to the waterproof one too, but that don''t look like it will happen.
$225 here for the 2650Kv.
