I am getting ready to do a little more work to my project F-350. The problem I have is that I think it would be cool to add a roof rack to the truck but I’m not sure if it goes with what I have done so far. Now is the time to drill and prep for it. What do you guys think? Roof rack or no roof rack?

i would say no. it looks too big and out of proportion on the truck.

Never a fan of roof racks on trucks, 1:1's usually have bed racks. I'd say go without - great looking truck btw

-why be ultra top-heavy with a roof rack, it's a truck, it has a bed to haul stuff, and that'll be much LCGer. Tho, I hate how the beds in RC are set up, no depth, not very "scale".

I agree, no roof rack!! Like SavedONE says that is what the bed is for.

Roof rack only if you are adding the double hoop roll bar onto the bed, for balance.

The roof rack looks good. Go to your local Tractor Supply Store and pick up the little diamond plate mini pick-up truck bed box that they sell for $2.99. It's made to hold a gift card and can be found up front. It's too small to work as an across the bed rails box, but it would be great (cut down) as an in-bed tool box.

Wouldn't look so bad with a little less gear in it - and maybe move the light bar down to the roof, in front of the rack. Seems like that would reduce the top-heavy look a bit. Looks like you'd have to shorten the rack a little to make it happen. Or do away with the lights up top all-together. Replicate some of the newer HID offroad lights on the bumper, everyone knows anything more is just overkill. ;)

Bed-mounted roll bars are played out, yo. Can you say "Fall Guy"? I mean, if that's what you're going for, uh... Cool. I'm just sayin'.

Are you gonna burn it when you're done ?

I'd say no to the roof rack.
But if you do decide to leave it on, lose the lights, they just look too high.
