I recently purchased the Thunder AC6 charger and absolutely love it. This is by far the best charger I have ever owned!! It even came with the temperature probe!!

There is only one problem that I have. And its with the computer program. I installed the program to my laptop along with the necessary drivers. I enabled the USB setting on the charger and connected the laptop and charger via the provided USB cable. When I start to charge my batteries, the program does not do anything or even seem to recognize that the charger is connected. The program says "Ready" in the lower left corner when I start charging. And the voltage, current, capacity, and ext. temp all read 0. Does anyone else have this problem? Does anyone know how to get it to work? I have 32-bit vista on my laptop if that helps.

thanks

When you start charging, charger looks good with amps & volt, It take probably 10 seconds for the computer to start registering the data.and graph. Should be ok.

I have had the computer plugged in the entire time the battery is charging and I have not gotten any graphs or data. Any suggestions on how to make this work?

thanks

Make sure you DL'ed the software with the charger. Make sure it's on your system. When charger is plug in, Program on digital display. scoll to USB/Tempsensor. Makle sure its on USB Enable, not Temp sensor. You can only run one or the other not both. So USB Enable. should run. Open software on computer, Hook up battery and Balancer to charger. If battery already charged, use the discharge mode. Press start, Charger will indicate charge or discharge, 5 second to 10 seconds the computer will read voltage, amps, and time and graph.

You have to tell the mode you need. USB Enabled for it to read on computer.

Alright so I got the program to work on my parents desktop computer. I found out the program doesn't run with vista. Since my parents desktop has Windows XP the program works just fine. Thanks.

Software disc should have a websight, or go to Thunder and check if they have software to accomodate Vista. I Know it's not compatable with Windows 7 64bit. Many software is not compatible with 64bit OS yet.
