CC sidewinder question

I just got this esc and I am using it on a brushed motor so I want to remove the extra wire (white). How do I remove it safely. It is not on the edge like other escs and i dont want to cut it.

I have just zip tied the white wire out of the way.
I have known some others who have unsoldered it from the board.

ya thats what i have done for now but to unsolder it i think you would have to take the casing off....any more ideas

I know that but thanks for your input anyways lol. I bought it for tcs gt2 class car (cdn) we can only run the tamiya black can.
