This may be a dumb question, I think I know the answer, but I just want to make sure.

Can you use a JST-XH 6S extension lead, like this (http://hobbycity.com/hobbyking/store/uh_viewItem.asp?idProduct=9738&Product_Name=JST-XH_5S_Wire_Extension_20cm_%2810pcs/bag%29) to balance a 2S? I want to plug the lead into the 6S plug on the charger, and then just either plug my 2S or 3S or 4S into the end of the 6S lead. Will the charger see a 2S correctly and therefore balance it correctly being always plugged into the 6S port?
Or would I need to specifically get a 2S lead to do the 2S, and 3S lead for the 3S battery and so on?

BTW, I realize the photo is only of a 5S, I can't find on hobbyking a 6S lead. But imagine, if you will, that the photo shows a 6S extension lead, not a 5S.

Thanks in advance.

I'm using this charger, http://www.okhobby.hk/product.php?id_product=1040

I also have a multi balancer from my old charger, like this (http://cgi.ebay.com/HYPERION-Multi-Adapter-Balance-Harness-HPLB10EHB-Lipo_W0QQitemZ290390509879QQcmdZViewItemQQptZRadio _Control_Parts_Accessories?hash=item439c9f8937) but with JST-XH plugs, which I would like to plug into the 6S balance port on the above charger.
The OLD charger I had which the multi balancer came from only had one balance port in it, but this new charger has ports for 2S-6S.
Would it work plugging it into the new charger's 6S port so I can just plug any battery into the corresponding port on the adaptor?

Extension are mostly universal. Useing 6S extension with the multi-port, just have to purchase a multi-port to accept the JST port or which ever lipo you need. Goto MaxAmps.com or rcaccessory.com for port to charge different lipo balancing port. There could be 3 different port to look at.
