Ive been looking for a 4wd electric under 150$ monster truck. the two that i have seen are the hpi rs4mt and the tamiya wild dagger. and i really cannot decide. and just wondering would the hpi (who i know are very performance oreinted) give me near a t3 basic truck performance? PLEASE RESPOND

Don't get the dagger, it is really slow, and it comes with a mechanical speed control, two lousy motors, and lots of things you will have to upgrade. You should also look for reviews for those trucks on the internet. ;) ;) ;)

Stampede, hands down. Very fast, durable, cheap, not 4wd but it seems like it, lots of hop ups available, etc. If you want, after a while you can make it 4wd but it costs some :D

had a stampede once and it was great but it was just not what i was looking for. i want something that will be able to do clodbuster tasks on a budget or rc10 performance with 4x4. The stampede was somewhere in the middle a great truck though

Does it have to be a truck? Does it have to be electric? If not IForgot has a 4wd Tamiya Blazing Star for sale as an RTR and it is priced to move. In fact you could get everything (Buggy, charger, radio, and battery) for $150.
Just thought I'd let you know.
Also there is the Blackfoot and Dirt thrasher from Tamiya. I have a simular thread in the Electric forum.
