I can't find a radio to go with a MP that I think I am geting! It needs to be a 2 channel FM radio with 1 standard and 1 high torque servo. (well that is what Towwerhobbeis.com said) Is there one that is a good price? (like maby in the $70.00-$100.00 range?) I don't want some great big radio that cost like 500 Bucks! (well not even 300 bucks!)
If you know were one of these are, please tell me the URL so I can see it and look at some info on it and how much it is and how much it is going to cost by the time it gets to my door.
Thanks

First of all nobody sells there radios with a high tourqe servo and second a standard servo will work for steering. I know this because i am using a Futaba standard servo in my MP you will have a lot of bump steer.

for the cost u r lookin at u will have to go with a 2channel am. there isnt any 2channel fm's... most fm's are 3 channel remotes.. the only fm radio that is 2 channels is the JR Xr2.. but that might be AM.. im not sure
as for 2chn AM's the airtronics blazer is nice, so is the futaba Jr
3channel FM's can be had for under 200.. like the hitec lynx3d, jr xr3
u will want a high torque servo for steering.. i dont kno how maxxkiller is getting off with a standard... and servo wont affect bumpsteer.. i dont kno what he is talking about to be honest. to emiminate bumpsteer u will need to adjust the servo saver.. bumpsteer for me on my MP isnt a problem and i havnt adjusted the servo saver at all

I am getting by but the slow response cost a bent CVA and a broken steering knuckle. What i mean by bump steer is that when i drive the wheels turn every possible because the servo cant hold them.

Dont forget the Hitec Lynx FM. It's 2 channels and it has all the same features as the Futaba for only $85. Get a hitec 615mg steering servo and that's pretty close to budget.

yeah 615 will be a "decent" servo. it will turn the wheels well. that and one of the 2 said radios, and u should be well on yer way and in yer budget.
MaxKiller, hehe at least u r putting the standard servos to use. i get 2 standards with everyone one of the radios i have. but i never use them. they just sit there. ill have to use them in somthing.. maybe ill put it in the MP for steering just to see what happens.
