i just got a nitro stampede for christmas,it ran fine for about 2 quarts.now when you throttle it the engine just screams and the truck barely moves.i have tried to adjust the slipper clutch,it doesnt do any good,my spur gear is also good and has good mesh.

My T-maxx did the same thing and I replaced my spur gear and it was fine. It may be another striped gear or the motor is to far from the clutch bell to create enough grip. You could also try an aluminum spur then it won't strip like ever. The spur has to be the prob. so replace it and see it should work.
