DuraTrax fans, I got my replacement Nitro Demon yesterday, and went over it with my screwdrivers; ball drivers; and Loctite! I checked the engine runout and it has .010 at the tip of the clutch bell gear, so that is acceptable. One wheel locknut was only finger tight. And of course the servo arms had to be removed and readjusted. I learned quick that RTR means "Remove-Tighten-Replace", LOL. It is an awesome looking model. I am so pumped to be back into R/C and have such a sophisticated model truck to fool around with. I installed an MIP on-board temp gauge. I then added the decals to the body last night. I made my own version, not quite like the box art but close.
I took some photos and have an image index: http://www.geocities.com/motorcity/garage/2031/nitrodemon
Let me know what you guys think of my first model in 15 years! I know it's a pre-built RTR, but hey I still had to apply the decals, LOL!

Then it's not fully RTR. Looks really nice, don't really know what the box looks like.
Good job on the decals though. http://www.rccaraction.com/ubb/cool.gif
