I have a couple of questions...

1) What do you think about the Hitec high torque servos, specifically the HS-615mg?

2) Does putting 18 inches of fuel line between the tank and the carb really make a difference?

3) What do you think about OS engines? Which one should I buy for my T-maxx? I was looking at the .15 cv-x hyper, is it good?

4) Are HCR's titanium products worth getting?

5) Are bulkhead braces worth getting?

6) I put 50 wt oil in my shocks and it made a HUGE difference. Would it be worth it to pick up some after market shocks and if so what more would I notice?

7) Will I actually notice a difference if I pic up some new tires? (Ofna tires for example)

8)Who else thinks that the ez start system ***** ?

9) Is in ecessary to get a metal spur gear if I'm not stripping my cheap traxxas spur gear?

and finally

10) I have a tuned pipe, performance air filter, and a fuel filter. Is there anything else that I can do to improve engine performance?

here's my opinions:

1. great servo for the money
2. yes..not very noticable but yes...
3. OS engines are great.. .15 cv-x would be my t-maxx engine, torquey and easy to tune
4.I've heard they are great..I'd get em
5.hmmm not sure
6. I would get after market shocks, with that oil you're likley to blow shock caps, and your shock bodies will ex-pand, I like traxxas big bores.
7.MP tires will give you more gound clearance, and looks cool, I'd get some pro-line maxx mashers or panther meatgrinders, you'll notice the diff.
8. I think the ez-start is not durable enough, for the everyday joe..it's nice if you can use it right
9. I don't like metal spurs...they are noisy, eat clutch bells, it's better for your spur to go than something in your tranny.
10. you could "port" your engine

I have had my T-Maxx for about 4 months and ran it into a bomb, ok it was a static disply were I work, and broke the rear bulkhead. I am convinced that if I had the bulkhead braces this would not have happened. The Bulkhead would have lived and the easy to replace $7 arms would have broken instead. Or I might have just bent a pin. Just wanted to add my two cents in.

1. i do not know about the hi torque servo but i have had two hitec standards that i did not have any luck with at all, they were always jittery, they worked, but not as well as a futaba i have. i will probably never buy one again
2. i have one loop and about 10 inches from my tank to the pipe, but a direct line, about 4 inches to the carb.
3. ??
4.??
5.??
6. a friend of mine got traxxas big bores for hit maxx and they were great
7. i would think that the amount of difference it makes depends on what surface you drive on and what type of tires you get.
8. i do http://www.rccaraction.com/ubb/smile.gif
i have a metal spur gear on my max st, my plastic one was not too badly worn, i could not really tell that much a difference, maybe a little, it does make a cool little ringing sound though!!
10. just getting the perfect valve settings!!, other than that, i cannot think of anything.

if you want real power get a .21 conversion, some of em are going for around $100, however the best one is going for $300,but thats a whole chassis and braces.

but you will be able to keep up with all the 1/8 buggies, i mean monster trucks.

as long as you have bulkhead braces you shouldnt need upgraded bulkheads.

that servo works okay in the tmaxx, however i would also suggest getting BB steering in addition. to get quicker response times and all that stuff.
