How do you port an engine?
You dont...you'll screw your engine up, and it will be illegal to race IF it works. Yes I do know how, but the risk factor is definately not worth it.

Hhhmmmm.....so I might not have been wrong saying that porting would make your engine a lot less reliable in another post.
It probably would make it less reliable unless you did it right.

What's porting? I've never heard of anything like that before? What does it do?
Porting makes your engine pull more fuel in than before you ported the engine, which means you can lean the carb out more safely and run faster, until, KABOOOM!!!

Ok, a lot of people have told me not to port my engine. But I would still like to know how to. Whether or not I do it doesn't matter. Thanx for the advice.

I've been subscibed to RCCA for a while and there was a issue a while back that told how the Pros port engines.
Here's the page to view for porting your engine. http://www.nitrorc.com/mods/engines/trx15mod.html It's not that hard to do, and a lot of people are doing it. Check the message board on Traxxas's web page. There's several people there who are poring their engine. I just ported mine today. It wasn't hard at all. Good lucks
