Well it is time for my MAXX to make the next evalution in it's life. My Maxx is all aluminum. Nothing else to speed one but to make it a twin power BIG BLOCK screaming MAXX. But I don't know what chassy to put that much power onto.

Dual .21's would shatter your T tranny.

If you're gonna put that much power into your maxx I suggest you go with the titanium kit the hardcore racing offers. It's the only kit I know of that will let you run the more powerfull nonpullstart .21 engines. You may also want to consider upgrading your tranny w/ the new hardened steel gears that just came out.

THE CHASSIS THE I HAVE PICK OUT TO HOLD MY TWIN .21 IS THE T-BEYOND CHASSIS.
WHO MAKES THOSE NEW STEEL TRANNY GEARS?

HEY PROJECTTWIN YOU TOLD THAT TO ME BEFORE ON MAXXTRAXX. BUT I DO BELIEVE THAT IF I CHANGE MY SPUR TO 50 OR LESS THAT I SHOULDN'T HAVE ANY PROBLEM WITH THE TRANNY.
AND IF THEY HAVE STEEL GEARS FOR THE TRANNY THEN I KNOW I WON'T HAVE ANY PROBLEMS

The steel gears are the forward only conversion that Traxxas is making. I don't know of any other steel gears being made for the tranny. Once you replace the primary gears withthe forward only conversion, you'll loose the jerk, or sudden engagement that the T-Maxx is known for. This should work out great for throttle response, and as long as you don't lay into it too hard right off the bat, the Tranny stands a chance, since the jerk of the clutch engagement is gone. Heck man, give it a shot! People told me mine wouldn't work....

Thanks for your info there Jason. Your web page is were I got my ideal to do this about a month ago and it has been in the working ever sence. It took me forever to find a chassis that was long and tough enough for this ideal of mine. I called Robinson Racing this morning and talk them about my ideal they think that all I need to do is run their 65 spur and loosen the friction pegs on the spur. They also informed me that on your clutch bell gear. That every tooth that you add to your cluth bell is the same at losseing three on your spur . I think that is how it went???

When I get this project done I'll be posting pictures on this wed site and on MAXXTRAXX.

TAKING MY MAXX TO THE NEXT EVALUTION!!!!!!
