Custom Graphite shock Towers

hey aren't some basket ball back boards made out of graphite? could you/we cut one up and use it for shock towers (or anything else)?
just a wierd idea from my messed up mind :D :p

Some might be made out of a Graphite or Fiberglass composite. But I think they are a bit more bouncy and bendable than could really be useful. It would probably be easier to pick up some sort of graphite chassis (like a JR-X2) on closeout, and chop that one up.
