I broke 3 teeth off one of the metal transmission gears and the only thing I can think of I did was jump it a few times. Does anyone else have any Idea of what I could of done wrong to break this so I don't whatever that is again?

To jump it or not to jump it that is the question?

Is it the old tup chassis GT? If so, get a transmission and engine mount brace by Trinity, or get the new chassis by Associated. If not, stop landing off of a jump with the throttle on. When your car is in air, the wheels spin faster because there is no weight the engine has to pull. When you land, there is a LOT of stress on the gears because of a car that wasn't there, appeared. Land the jump with less throttle if its the new chassis and you'll be fine.

OOPS! I thought you were talking about the GT! Listen to the throttle one and you'll be fine.

No just coasting into the edge of a road off the yard which is only about 2in. high thats all really. Never any wrecks or collisions though.

Are you doing alot of forward to reverse real quickly to try to do wheelies? If so that is REAL BAD on gears.

I just stripped two teeth of the steel ring gear. Idiot me. I just HAD to do a wheelie. lol. But the cool thing was it did the wheelie half way down my street. Does any company make a tougher ring gear?

Robinson Racing has a steel spur gear available for the T-MAXX.

It might be from being on the gas when you land. Let it roll over the jump? I've never heard of that gear breaking.
