pipe changing color

i have a cvec pipe on my t maxx it was black and now after running a few tank fulls through it is changing color bad,but engine is running at 280 degrees and runs perfect? also can you remove all color to make it look just like silver aluminum color?

try soaking it in oven cleaner (ez off) for a half hour and then rinse. that removes anodizing and should remove the black.

Or you might wanna just scrub it down with Denaturated alcohol that might work also.
