Does Towerhobbies actually sell the CVEC? Last I checked they didn't carry anything from Innoventive Technologies (the manufacturer of CVEC). Has anyone ever actually gotten into the CVEC website? All it is the logo and there's nothing else there. OH and I own a CVEC as well and it's great!

I have the Stinger and it is fine if you can keep the pipe attached to the header after some real hard landings. Also the engine will need to be re-tuned. But this is true pretty much no matter what pipe you buy, the re-tuning that is. I want to get the CVEC so I can compare it personnally against the Stinger. But I too think it is a little overpriced when compared to the MIP Stinger. Plus you would still have to buy thier header so that the pipe can be placed behind the shock tower instead of through it like the MIP. I've heard that the Associated pipe works pretty good too.

get a big tube header.. they are inexpensive.. look absolutly wicked and make the truck a lot quicker.. ohh and with the big tube you can run any pipe you want w/o having to cut the header down or move the reciever box.. I'm running the big tube header and an AEGT pipe.. the torque is insane.. I can lift the front the wheels just a little off the ground with my stock TRX 15.
