My buddy just got an EMaxx. The suspension is very smooth and the travel is huge, but boy do these things lean in the turns (or roll over.) Does anyone have any suggestions or proven suspension setup tips that have helped overcome this problem? Thank you

Thicker shock oil and lowering the car are good ways to help this...also remember its a moster truck...it won't corner like a stadium truck. Try taking the rear shock preload clips off and putting the front ones in the rear. That helps. If you still need less roll put something like 70-80 wt in the shocks. Don't overfill them or else they will pop off easily. Hope that helps.

Thanks for the input - more suggestions from T/EMaxx owners would be great. I guess I'm spoiled, with about 4lbs of wheels and tires, my Monster Pirate practically does corner like a stadium truck. If possible, I'd like to find a solution that doesn't sacrifice much ground clearance. Has anyone tried heavier springs or heavier duty replacement shocks to successfully reduce the Maxx body roll? Or does that make roll over even more likely?

Like I said, thicker shock oil helps. Also, I meant don't overfill them or else the SHOCK CAPS will pop off, not the shocks ;) . I haven't put thicker oil in my shocks yet, mainly because I lowered my E-Maxx and it corners better now. However, I am going to try thicker oil in the future to see if it helps with other things as well.

<--No T-Maxx here, but I'm guessing since they make every stinkin hopup known to man for the thing that you could get some antirollbars.

Get some stable maxx rims. Those help without losing ground clearance.
As for suspension, I hear great things about the RPM 2-stage. (RPM makes it, right?)
But im too stubborn with RPMs quality and customer support to try any of their products again. Bad experiences...

yeah but I tried the RPM 2 stages on the stock shocks and they won't fit unless you enlarge the shock bores a bit.. it was too risky for me so I decided to just scap the idea for now and save the 2 stages and order up some associated shocks and put the RPM 2 stages in there..
