Where do you guys race? I've been to Big Boys to practice, but I've never raced there. I heard they race on Weds. at 7:00. I use to race in Raynham at Hi-Tec, but this year there was no turn out and they never held a race.

I'm from Taunton, MA and I use to race at Hi-Tech about once a month. Turn out at the end of last year was getting sparse. About 15 guys on Sundays. Ruben, the owner, changed the race days this year from Sunday to Saturday and attempted to open things at the end of April. They started to groom the track, and as you know, the terrible weather this spring screwed things up and no one ever turned out on Saturdays.
I've been to Big Boys to practice once every week this year and I heard they get a good turn out on Wednesday nights. I might try to make it down there soon. I don't race much so I don't want to embarras myself. Don't know the guys down there, so I don't know if they are friendly.

RACING IN RUTLAND MASS!
The track was build around April this year. People use to race here. Afterawhile nobody wanted to run the races..so they stopped racing. I have been practicing at this track for awhile and I have picked up the responsibility of running the races. Starting this coming Wednesday (Sept 20), we're going start racing! There's going to be two qualifiers and one main. Registration starts at 6:30pm. First heat starts at 7:00pm. We'll run any car you bring. The track is a offroad dirt track. The address is:
194 Pleasantdale Rd.
Rutland, MA 01543
It's right on route 122
Our web address is (it's very old and not up-to-date): http://www.centralmassrc.homepage.com
Come and check it out. We'll have alot of fun.

I went to Pembroke this Saturaday. It's a nice little track. The lanes are pretty narrow, so got to be careful when driving with traffic. Track is smooth with very few bumps. The guy to beat at the track is Rich (I was told). He was good. He took both buggy and truck classes. I raced buggy and I almost had him. I came in two seconds after him in the main. The races are nice and long (5 minutes). Stock classes only. It was fun. I'll probably go back in two weeks.

i have been racing at northboro for a few months now. i won the past 2 weeks. planning on making the hike to r/c madness. i figure its cheaper to. my motors will last longer and everything. but for the past few weeks no one has shown up. there have been like 3 people in the offroad. but i am defently fed up with it. the main problem is that mike doesnt seem to maintain the track, so the potholes are larger than the cars! i mean i would have to use all of its suspenion to clear this stuff (it was better a few weeks ago) by the way maxxwrencher are u the kid who has teh hopped up alum tmaxx with the picco engine?

I was going to start racing in rutland, bu never had the chance. I raced in northboro a while back, not much since then. I was thinking of starting to race again. I race only MOD Clods, MOD Juggs, etc, is there a spot for me anywhere?
P.S. I live in Worcester, Ma.
