This here thread is for us West Texans. Lets here from all of ya, if there are any. Where are ya at, where and what do you race?

Me, currently I'm in San Angelo, but I'm about to move to Lubbock. I don't race anywhere because I am currently not in the hobby.

I'm gonna get back in when I move to Lubbock because there is actually a track there. No track in in San Angelo, thats why I got out. Got tired of driving for an hour and a half one way to race for 15 minutes.

Well I'm in Abilene and the only track we have is a dirt oval. What kind of racing do they have in Lubuck?

There is an indoor on-road track in Lubbock. And supposedly an off-road track, but I've been told its a club track and is in serious need of organization.

Cool, I hope you get to do some racing soon. What kind of vehicle are you thinking of buying? Since the known track is indoors electric seems to be called for. But by type of vehicle I meant Buggy, Truck, Stampede, RC-10T/B3, Pan Car, etc..

The indoor on-road track is ran by the local hobby shop. I'll be getting a TC3 to run there. Now if there is any offroading I'll wait a while to see if Associated comes out with a new Buggy at the Worlds, and if a new truck is to follow that. If so that is what I'll run off-road, if not then just a regular T/B3. If my handle didn't give it away I'm a die hard Associated man, no Team Slosi here. :D

Actually I thought your handle was based on the "A-Team" TV show. :D But now I know. I hope that Associated comes out with a new Buggy and Truck soon. I like thier vehicles too, I have two of thier pan cars already.

Cool, I like to go to airshows for the real planes but the R/C ones are great fun to watch too. I've yet to go to an air show that didn't have a couple scale planes flying during intermissions. Thanks for the information though.
