No, Tower Hobbies does not have a branch in Canada. The best you can do for this sport is to order from your local hobby shop or at least give them the opportunity to match mail order prices. Most will come very close to keep your business. If your local hobby shop helps out with donations or anything with your local racing scene THEY SHOULD BE SUPPORTED.....
IF they don't then you can at least feel good about yourself that you tried to shop local before you use mailorder.
BTW, Most hobbyshops will send out parts, Just phone them, get the price and use your Visa or Mastercard.....

The ONLY Mail order company that compares to Towers is EAST COAST MODEL CENTER. They have a thick catolog just like Towers. They dont have everything but can get almost anythign you want. Shop onlin/by phone/or by mail..

I'm not too crazy about my local hobby shops. You try to support them, then the get all whiney if you shop around for the best price. Thats after you've even spent a lot of cash in the store at another time (geez they seem to forget such things)

There is only one hobby shop in winnipeg, I dont call the rest hobby shops more like holes in the wall I couldnt get a part for any of my rc's if my life depended on it or a kit thats over $200 (they dont want to cary the inventory) so i have no choice but to go mail order, or open my own shop?? hmmmmmmm..

Hmmmmmmmm! Sounds interesting. Is there a way to beat the qualification to have a store front to get orders from a Major Distributor other than to be a legit " Hobby Shop " or becoming " Tower Hobbies Canada?"
