I live in Frederick county. They have parking lot races every Saturday afternoon throughout the summer at Hobbytown USA. It's too bad there isn't more club racing in Md like have in Fla and southern Calif. But of course, they have a lot better weather there, which helps.

I'm from Maryland! I race at RCO in Hanover PA, and you guys should definatly check it out. Used to race at Cub Hill back in the day, and it has the same laid back but competitive atmosphere. They have an indoor asphalt track that is one of a kind! It's at rco.webjump.com. I live in White Marsh and it only takes me about an hour to get there.

I live by patapsco high school. I went to cub hill a few times as well. Someone should fix it up and have races there.

hey i don't race but i would really like to. i live in towson and have never heard of that cub hill track. if anybody lives near repond and mabye we could hook up, o yeah i drive a nitro sport(sounds cheezy but this thing really flies). later
scott
Scott, I race at RC Outfitters in Hanover PA which is only about 45mins from Towson. They race nitro in the summer (unfortunatly, the season ended yesterday). But they race electric vehicles of all sorts at their indoor track. If you want, I can give you directions and come check it out. The track is awesome!
Cub Hill hasn't been maintained in several years. Last time I went there, the road to get to the track was even blocked off! I think RCO and Hobbytown in Glen Burnie are probably the closest places to race, followed by The Track in Gaithersburg. All of these tracks have their good and bad points.

Hey guys,
Just reminding you if you get the itch to race... RC Outfitters in Hanover, PA is getting 50+ racers each week in a variety of classes. We race road course (sedans, Tamiya cars, 1/12th, etc) every Saturday and they run Oval every other Sunday. The track is indoor and is PAVED ASPHALT! This is a one of a kind track and sometimes even watching the racing action is excitement enough!

Those pictures are Awsome. I cant wait to race you guys. I currently have a bent chassis on my maximum ST so i wont be racing any time soon. I have had some people email me asking about the track and asked me if I was going. I know of a couple people that would love to go to that track. Hmm,,, what classes could we have? We could make it a monthly thing. I bet you neighbors will love that!!!!!! LOL.

Jonathan, we run most Sundays in the winter as long as the temps are above 45. The track conditions are much better as the dirt will hold moisture better in cool weather. The cars are all MP6s.
Are there any tracks around crofton bowie for off raod nitro trucks? i'm building a track in my back yard for practice, but i would still like to find out if there are any other "REAL" tracks around

magyver, Hobbytown is in 7th St Shopping Ctr off 15. Tehy have lots of cars & parts and are constantly expanding the inventory. They race on the parking lot in the summer & are planning an off road track behind the store.

monstertruckbob, I live in Delaware (about 1/2 hour from Salisbury), and I don't know of any tracks down that way, or even any hobby shops for that matter. Seaford Delaware (about 5 minutes from me and about 25 minutes from you) is the closest hobby shop and track that I know of. I can't say much nice about either, and that's all I'll say about that :)
