Clubs in California

Are there any R / C car clubs in California near Los Angeles ? I want to join a club that specializes ( spelling ?) in nitro cars . I have a HPI Supernitro RS4 and want to join a club in Los Angeles or close to it . Thanks

I don ' t know Calvin , I ' ve been looking , too . I have a Yok gt4 . Have you gone to any tracks ? There are a few of them near by !

The only track i know of is So Cal Raceway . I really want to join a club .

There are quite a few clubs catering for Gas RC racing in the LA area . Two that I know of are the Greater LA RC club and the ProCar West RC club . GLARCC race at the SOuth Bay pavilion in Carson and at the Crystal Park Casino in Compton . ProCar West race in Santa Fe Springs and also at the Crystal Park Casino track . Crystal Park is the best place to get in touch with racers . Next race there is July 16 , but the track is open every day for practice . Talk to Van Alexander - he ' s in control there . The Casino is off the 91 at Alameda Street , just west of the 710 freeway .

There ' s also another club in La Habra that races Touring Cars only - called Asphalt Burners . They run at the La Habra High school most Saturdays . They used to have a website on Geocities but it ' s closed right now .

there is a club for r/c race tracks. **** i should join the group at a hobby shop in sacremento (if they have 1)

Does Crystal park have a Off-Road track, I heard they did, but had no pics posted on their site! I have a NXT and I wanna race it near by, Im actually like 5mins away from the LAX airport, so Im very close! I also have a Losi Rally with SW conversion on the way, do those clubs race both?

Im going to try to stop by tomorrow at crystal, is there practice that day? because thats what I want to do. I want to work on my driving skills more.

Also, There is an off-road track in saugus, Hot rod Hobbies, They have $2 practice, and $10 races. Every other week they race on road, they also have a perminent dirt oval track, as well a an AWSOME off road track, check em out at http://www.hotrodhobbies.com
