Whats up everyone. I was looking for something to do last saturday night and me and a friend decided we wanted to go watch some rc races. I wasn't gonna race, I just wanted to watch and waste some time.
I noticed that there really isn't any offroad nitro tracks in Fort Worth. There are plunty in Dallas and everything, but none close to me in Fort Worth.
I wanna build a track, we possibly have the land. I wanna talk with Roys Toys and use him to supply parts, maybe he can setup a stand out there and sell from there, he can have all the profits. I dont have the money to open a hobby shop on location.
Me and some friends and anyone else who wants to help can build the track, the more people the more opinions, a better track. I can get some portable facilities out there for food and restrooms.
I dont plan on charging but maybe 5 bucks for admission (spectators free) im not doing this to make money. I will advertise in local hobby shops, and the money I do make we can use for the track and maybe some prizes for raffles to promote the track.
If anyone is interested or has any ideas, please contact me by email, markt1230@home.com. I want to make a 1/10th scale offroad outdoor track. If we get good enough turnouts maybe we can invest in transponders or a 1/8 scale track.
