If anyone lives near Boston and is interested in getting together to do some on-road R/C racing, e-mail me or respond to this message here. I've contacted the local go-cart track, F1Boston in Braintree, to request and ask if they allow R/C users to use thier facilities, so hopefully something can be worked out there, but parking lot racing is just as fun. Hope to hear from someone!!

i go to big boys toys in fall river, great track! great people and great racing. since its such a small and techincal track motors and batts dont realy matter, driving skill is the most important thing.

I think there is a track on the North Shore. Check out www.rcyellowpages.com's (http://www.rcyellowpages.com's) R/C track directory.

its offroad they pretty much always have enough people to do truck and buggy, however every once and a while there is 4wd buggy, and i think they changed it so that all races are now open meaning whatever motor you want, however most people run stockers anyway.

i personally run a kyosho mad science 16x2 that has alot of torque, took it out of my emaxx when i sold it.

Will they allow nitro at B.B.Toys? I dont want to buy and electric just to race there, whatever happened to Hitech Hobbies in Raynham?

no... its very small for a offorad track, and even if you could you would probably be alot slower, but they dont allow nitros.

since u dont need mod motors and nothing great battery wise, you could probably get racing with nice stuff for maybe $200-300ish. i mean you can get really cheap xxx's that have tons of hop ups on ebay. and the b3's seem to have a pretty bad resale so you could probably get one of those either.
