Come to beautiful Boise Idaho (no, not Iowa nor Ohio).
There are races scheduled for about every Saturday through September. There are two tracks, both at hobby shops.
5/13,5/27,6/10,6/24,7/8,8/5,8/19,9/2,9/16,9/30 at HobbyTown U.S.A.;
5/20,6/3, and probably every other week after that, at Boise Hobby.
Both use computer lap counting and have food and parts at the track. Come and get schooled in the art of Elec TC, Nitro TC, Pan TC, F1,and Minis.
