The only place i know of is Hemet and San Diego. All the other places are indoors.

Pegasus should be doing nitro off-road, but that will not be for a while

I believe that MnM hobbies and DHW is near Southern Cal. But I'm not too sure. I live in Michigan. But I believe that is right. http://www.rccaraction.com/ubb/confused.gif

I ' ve just got back into racing about a month ago after purchasing my XXXT . I race at the new D & B Race Track in Hesperia , CA . The owner has the track set up pretty nice . It is an outdoor off - road track with two triple jumps , one large and one small , a couple long straight aways with bumps and dips , and a few hair pin and zig - zag turns . The racer turnout has been pretty good . Even had some sponsored guys from " Banzai Motorsports " racing . Spectator turnout hasn ' t been bad either . The races are held every Friday and Saturdays . On Friday the signups are at 5 : 00 p . m . with racing at 7 : 00 p . m . ( usually later though ). It only cost $ 3 . 00 to practice and $ 10 . 00 to race . They run both gas and electric , but gas seems to be the most popular . I raced last night and finished second . http://www.rccaraction.com/ubb/smile.gif

Hot Rod Hobbies is in Southern California. They race all forms of off-road there, even on-road every other weekend, including dirt oval. I havent been there in such a long time i forgot the exact name of the city. Their web page is www.hotrodhobbies.com (http://www.hotrodhobbies.com)

I have also heard of an off road track at Crystal Park hotel and casino. Which is about 20-30mins away from the LAX airport.

And people used to drive there cars at the great western forum, inglewood. But I dont know if they still do it. I even heard that people would race R/C dragsters there.

All the other tracks like MnM raceway (corona) and So cal (huntington beach) race indoors, so gas is not permited. But they race electric off-road.

I am not in the state for the time being, but when I used to race I did it at the Ranch Pit Shop and Pegasus Raceway. I think the Ranch is closed now right? and Pegasus Hobbies in Montclair had a raceway I think ( it was a long time ago) in either Fontana or San Bernadino. It is probably closed by now though, any thoughts?

RIDGECREST?!?!?! I grew up there! A friend of mine manages a store there and we were trying to get some on road racing going! I heard they had a really good off road race last weekend. I hear even Brian Kinwald showed up! To Ridgecrest!!!
Anyone from Ridgecrest?

K&M raceway in grand terrace runs electric
nitro and T- MAXX classes on friday and saturday nights, it is located in grand terrace ( san Bernadino) its on the corner of barton road and mt. vernon, behind the strip mall and mail and package store. the turn out is very good and thay draw a very nice group of racers even though the people who run the place can get a little un profesional in the way thay operate, but even with that said its still alot of fun and worth a try.(sorry i dont have a phone number).
