I was wondering what is the best tape to use for masking. And what type of paint works best (spray or brush)? Oh an what kind of lights are good for head/tail lights? Thanks for ne info. ^_^

An airbrush will give you the best finish, but if your budget doesn't allow for then use spray cans over hand brushing. Pactra makes nice paint that comes in spray cans. Pactra also makes good tape for masking. If you decide to use an airbrush I prefer parma's new faskolor paints over pactra's stuff. That's my 2c.

Airbrushes are better than cans because u can have a wide spray pattern, or a short spray pattern. You can also do more thingd with an airbrush than u can do with a can. I would never recommend brush painting a body, but if u use spray cans, turn them upside down and spray them until there is no more paint coming out(it will be clear). This will keep the nozzles clean for future use. I recommend parmas acrylic, it cleans up with water, and is non-toxic.

I forgot about the tape question http://www.rccaraction.com/ubb/smile.gif. 3M masking tape works good.

I agree with the recommendations made so far...regardless of which paint and method you choose; remember your first coat is only enough to tack down the window masks and any sort of designs or stripes you've chosen. Once the first tack coat is dry go easy and build the pigment over a couple of coats. 3m, Scotch brand or Pactra make good tape...if you're using a "paper-type" masking tape, don't use the factory edge. always cut a fresh line in the tape to reduce the chance of paint bleeding underneath. As far as lights... check out the products from RCNEON or RAm. Don't go crazy your first time out! Walk before you run so to speak....have fun most of all!
