Do faskolor paints come in any metallic colors? By "metallic" I mean that it has tiny metal flakes in it. They have some called fascent; are those metallic? I know pactra has metallic colors, but I really like using the faskolor paints 'cause they're so easy to clean up. Thanks for any help.

Not sure about Fascolor, but Pactra just came out with a new acrylic based paint similar to Fascolor, named Racing Finish Acryl - it cleans up w/H2O too. I've painted a body with it and it came out great. Pactra has some cool transparent colors, but their Acryl paints don't have metal flakes either. The old Pactra silver had 'em, but the new Acryl doesn't. I was concerned, but the results turned out great.

I really want the metallice flakes 'cause I'm gonna paint that '56 chevy body that bolink makes for the T-maxx and I think metallic blue or yellow is just the color for that hotrod look.

Sounds like a good color scheme for a '56. Why don't you just use the older Pactra solvent-based (laquer) paints? Be sure to clean your airbrush out with thinner!

Let’s dig this topic back up. I have figured out the Faspearl, the Faschange the Fascolor, and the Fasfluorescent, but can anyone tell me what Fascent looks like?

Fascent is as close as they have to metalic paints. If you want a true metal flake finsh, you will have to use Pactra's Silver Metal Flake. This stuff is more of a bear to work with. Use the biggest nozzle you have and thin it abou 60/40 paint to thinner.

If you want the body to be another color metal flake. You will have to do one or 2 thin coats of that color. Spray it thin enough so you can still see thru the color.
Then spray the metal flake and then back that with the first coat color again.

Thanks HM, I'll give that a try. Your right though, nothing beats working with faskolor paints. They cure very nicely if you ask me.
