Paint Masking

For Christmas I am getting a new body for my Kyosho inferno mp-6, I've never painted a body with an airbrush before and I am getting one also. What do you suggest I use as a mask and what usually has provided the best results? I've heard lots of people use 3M masking tape and I've also heard about some kind of liquid mask, any help is appreciated!

the liqid mask works the best for me. no leeks or spots with it , you can get it from tower hobbies i think! i get mine from the local hobby dealer.
