Testors spray paint isnt nitro fuel proof right? If it isnt, what do you spray on as a final coat to protect your paint job? Is there a fuel out there in a spray can that would be better to use than the testors that is fuel proof?

Im pretty sure its nitro proof (I have it on my GT). But where the pipe is or anywhere where the body could get hot, put a thick tape on it so it doesnt get hot.

Sure is nitro proof, it's all I use. Good Stuff if you use it right. Lay the spray it will stay!!!

The Testors spray may be fuel proof, but I don't believe it has the necessary bonding agents to adhere to Lexan and not flake off when the body flexes. I wouldn't risk it- go with the Pactra fuel-proof spray, or if you airbrush, Parma's Faskolor. The right stuff to use is $4 or less-why bother experimenting?

I used the Pactra on my GT, good stuff. And the tape idea is worth the extra few minutes.
