I am painting my T3 2 colors... using a light green and yellow. I was wondering if after i paint the first color if i could mask it off with some kind of tape and then pain the rest of the body? And also how long should i wait till i can mask off any other areas? Any suggestions will be helpful. Thanks

you should first mask off what you do not want to be the first color. then you peal the tape off and you can just paint over the first paint with the second color. paint the darker color first. also, if you Back lighter colors and florescants with white or silver, it makes them stand out better. i have used clear contact paper to mask, if you lay it on eht body you can use a really sharp razor blade, gently on it and cut it away, it makes a really clean edge like that. i did it this way and had pretty good luck, otherwise use a good quality masking tape. don't use the cheap stuff, the paint will bleed through or go under it , plus it could leave the tapes adhesive.

when you paint,to ensure no bleeding occurs;undercoat all colors with white or silver before moving on to the next color.white undercoat adds brilliance, silver adds depth.
