HauntedMyst ~ ya know the Blue, Yellow, and Orange Skyline body you have??? That thing is OUTSTANDING!!! What colors did you use. Once I get one I'm going with a one color job but all three of those colors look great. Again, KUDOS! Phat ride, man!

or this one?

In both cases it's just fascolor yellow and orange, the bottom one has red as the first part of the molten fade.

In both cases the blue is a custom mix of:

Faschange Blue
Faschange Purple
Fascent Blue
Faspearl Blue
Fascolor Charcoal
Fascolor Silver
Fascolor Black

I can't tell you the proportions since I just squirted until I liked it. On the bottom picture, the blue is even more remarkable in person.

I do sell them. That top one was just for sale. You don't make much painting bodies since people dont value the time and effort it takes to paint them unless they are collectors or willing to spend the money for that rare perfectly executed top which will never see the street. My paint jobs are very good, but like anything else, there is a big difference between very good and outstanding.

For the bottom blue, start with equal parts Paspearl blue, faschange blue and fascent blue and mix till you come close to it. then slowly mix in the charcoal, silver or black (not much black at all). Add more faschange blue as you go to keep the cool steel blue effect. This is important and will sound like nonsense but trust me. Mix it in a clear glass jar and judge yoour color by the thru the glass color. When you have it right, spray. When you spray it, it will look murky on the undersiade but through the lexan it will look right as you add more layers. You will need about 7 coats to make it look right. Back it with Silver.

Both cars are HPI 190mm Skyline GTRs.

I dunno man... that bottom one is outstanding... i'm still considering using a faskolor yellow mixed with orange to get a dandelion yellow color. or using the blue that you used. it'll be awhile until it happens but it will.

I GUARANTEE it. ;) how hard is it to use an airbrush??? it takes seven coats??? is it just like using an spray can somewhat???

spray cans are incredibly easy to use... if ya don't believe me go check out the topic "finally can show you my paintjob"

that's my dodge :D i love it.

That one takes seven coats, most of them don't. It's not hard to use an airbrush, it just takes practice like anything else. It's not like using a spray can in that it's much more of aa finer thinner spray so you have a lot more control.

The kind of work I do isn't difficult, and if you follow the instructions on that article I wrote, you should be able to make almost anyone one of them in short time.

To get exception al it is another story altogether. I didnt paint this but kept the pic as a good example of extraordinary work
