Iwas wondering if it would be worth the time and the money to paint a proline body and try to sell it with a nice design on it and if you please give me your input on this subject I would like that very much. ;)

well... you could do it. if you make a decent design you could get alot off of it. ive seen tons of people do it on ebay. so if your good at painting bodies i say you go for it and then base the price on how much time and effort you put into it + the cost of the body :)

Just try to be reasonable on the cost. If the body is $20, try charging around $40 because most people would rather go to the professionals if their going to shell out a lot of cash. Personally, I would rather paint my own one color body than pay $50-$70 on a cool looking pre-painted one.

I paint bodies for money.. But its not like I buy them and then sell them pre-painted. My friends and whoever wants me to paint the body they give it to me and i usually charge 20$ becouse they also get the paint.

I paint cars and sell them on Ebay. It depends really on what you want to get out of it and how good you are as to whether or not you should do it. It's an expensive venture when you consider a good airbrush and a good compressor, not to mention the time and money it takes in paint and bodies it takes to get good. I paint because I love the process. I've also used it to nearly pay for this bobby.
You can see my stuff at: http://albums.photopoint.com/j/AlbumList?u=324108
The best work is in section 3 thru 6
I saw this guy sell this truck for over #200 and it's a work of art

I sold this one for $65 and its very nice but not at the level of the above, but in neither case do you get what their worth when you consider the time involved, so money better not be your main objective.

I'll admit, they do look nice. But I can't see spending $60+ on a body that's going to sit on a shelf (because only crazy people would actually drive with them).
