There are lots of good companies out there for motors and speed controllers to fit any budget.

Speed controllers- I can speak for Novak as being a quality product (had four and no complaints). Heard good things about LRP. Intellipeak makes some good ESC's for the money.

Modified Motors- I love the Reedy Ti Mods. I think they are the best available. Speed Gem makes a quality motor for the money.
The lower wind you go with the motor the more maintenance you will have.

Stock Motors- Reedy MVP, Orion Core, Green Machine 3, and the p2k2 are good stockers to name a few.

To be more specific we would need more info on how you are using the B3.

Out of curiousity what is everyone else running as far as ESC/Motor Combo?

I run a GT7/along with the first 3 stockers I mentioned depending on track or a Ti Mod 14x2 or 10x2.

On a personal race note I swept the board taking 1st in both Buggy and Truck with my B&T3! Must have been a Blue Moon!!

psurace, I've had a Quantum Competition and a Novak GT7 and the GT7 is much smoother and more adjustable, a big advantage in 2wd mod. Is this for racing or bashing? Do you want reverse?

As kilrbzz said the Ti is a great motor, the Orion Core/Peak Carrera motors are also very smooth but fast motors with huge torque.

Corally makes wicked handwound mods. Their 13 tripple is good for offroad (here anyways). I don't think they are generally popular, but it seems to be what the fast guys around here run. :)

Yeah, I've seen some wicked fast corallys too. I might get an 8x2 for my touring car and something a little more mild for my buggy;)

I bought a 13x3 for my T3 and B3 when offroad comes around.

Hello all I was wondering How would I go about leveling out my dog bones and is it a good thing to do or does it depend on track conditions??

It just means setting the ride height so that when viewed from behind the dogbones are parallel with the surface the car is on. Adjust it using preload spacers wiht a race ready car (motor, battery etc) so that they are level, or just below level. It's a good starting point for most tracks.
