Nice. I wonder how much it will cost. Will the arms and towers be available separate and together? You just know a driver like me will break 'em like DAT! :D :p

humm to me it looks like RPM A-Arms with Super Maxx Suspension Geometry. Any one agree? For a racer it most likley will have to be a must!

I disagree. They don't look like RPM arms at all...

I agree about the racer part. Robin from supermaxx does not seem happy about this.

The SuperMaxx suspension reworks the entire suspension geometery. This one only gives different shock positions. Suspension geo is the same. RPM is only making it wider and giving everyone the choice of shock position, something every other car / truck does already.

This new Pro Line a-arm kit give an extra 1" total width. Now, add in some RPM Stablemaxx rimms for another 1" total width increase. Now you get 2" wider stance!!

I'd take the shock towers those look sweet. but leave the arms.. thats just more length to break off in a crash.

wouldnt that cause the sliders to twist?

I will be getting some to add some width with my stablemaxx rims. now it will be realy wide, yet still weigh almost stock weight.

Good point, I think a longer telescoping drive shaft would be in order. Or, at least extended CVDs.
The arms look only slightly like the RPM arms. These are flatter, RPMs are rounded, and these have three holes to mount the shocks and the RPMs only have two. But I might still be inclined to stay with the RPM arms because I like the warranty against breakage.

I think its an almost sad attempt at an exact copy of the SuperMaxx Ext arms.. (http://www.monstermaxx.com/Img/sm21/Assembled%20Chassis.JPG) the only problem is these arems don't do anything to fix the suspension geometry of the stock maxx. They just make it wider and I really doubt the strength of these.

The kit will come with extended sliders, and ProLine is still working on the tie-rod details. If you look close you'll notice a number of shock mounting options on both the shock tower and the suspension arms. This will allow you to tune your suspension for better handling.

Thanks Greg for layin' it down for us. And my hats off to Pro-Line. It's about time somebody made these parts in an affordable plastic version. I would love to have a SuperMaxx suspension, but I just don't have the bones to throw down for it.

Jason, Robin did not seem to happy about the hole thing. it might not have been directly at the product and more at me and other people for the posts that were being put up. I have changed my mind on the proline suspensiion and i am getting supermaxx suspenion. i dont feel like ever breaking a suspenion part again.

Does it really need to be wider ?
I do not have a MAXX, but these things appear to be VERY stable, right out of the box ... what's up with the big push for wider ?
Just curious ...

Wider is better, at least for Pontiac. :D
Jeep the T-Maxx can act a little "tippy" at times suring hard cornering at high speeds.
I think it could be a little longer and wider so we can attack steeper inclines. But then that would make it 1/8th scale now wouldn't. :o

the maxx trucks are really tippy. They flip over hecka easy, specially da E-maxx.l I'm definity getting some. I've got some 17mm hex heads on it right now( along with mp tires). But the track is technical so i was gonna drop it and race buggy tires, now i dont have too.

If pro-line can keep it cheap enough they'll sell thousands. Will be nice to have a plastic alternative that's light.

Tower has these as "on order" and the price is something like $66 bucks for the "system" I think. Sorry I just can't remember the exact price off the top of my head. It has been several days since I found them.
Later,
Jerry
