Yes, it "looks like a similar can to the hell-fire," which is the same as the current Chrome/Spitfire cans. If anything is different, it can only be the magnets and/or the armature stack design, but I doubt it... I wonder why they're calling this "all new."

Brian, to compete with Trinity's motor of course, because the Aurora is now 'yesterday's' motor. I could care less, I am getting one!
Thanks for this info steve, I only wish I was there! Is there any way to get a picture of the Armerature?

I know how they work... They just want us to get excited about the same old motor (not that it's bad, because it's not), by changing outer appearance only. You're ordering one, Steve? Mission: accomplished. How crazy... Throw some new magnets in there (maybe they did, maybe they didn't), refinish the can, throw on a sticker, and call it a new motor...interesting...
I'm sure they're sweet motors, though.

It is a new armature design. Web shape.

First off all the motor is mostly new. Second of all I like to consider Peak (and Orion) quality companies that produce good products actually making them better. Sure we could easily re-package the same motor to make it look different without making it better but what we do is develop our products so that they are more powerful and more efficient than the previous model. I apologize if this approach is not suitable, but it is the best way for us to improve upon the Aurora.
Besides this combination has already proven to be a winner. And we are confident that when Car Action does its modified motor shoot-out, the Carrera (and Orion Core) will come out on top.
