I saw this at the show today, it was very very cool. Unfortunately, the Thunder Tiger rep I was talking to didn't speak any english so he wasn't able to tell me when it would be available. The most I could get out of him was "it runs on floor".

This is exactly what I'm looking for. Does anyone have information from the Chicago Hobby Show or from anywhere else about this thunder tiger motorcycle. :)

It's going to take a little work to get it to look like a Ducati...

The bike looks very much like the Nuova Faor bike(see current issue of RCCA)with different bodywork and a much better price tag.Mine will be on order soon!
I figured out how it gets up. See that hole on the side? Theres a wire that goes around and makes kinda like a butterfly thing. So you can lean it over and go in circles till you get enough speed and get it upright. I saw it run, too bad that there wasnt more room...

I was able to see it at the show. The guy did know how to say "Yamaha very fast" hehe. It does look like it uses 540 size motors and standard radio gear. I hope bodies are cheap. Its on my christmas list!

Ed - If you weren't already aware, this bike has been available for a while. I bought mine over two years ago, and they are a blast! I ran an 11 turn triple in mine, and the thing was a rocket. I sold it along with much of my r/c stable after my wife took off, and have regretted it ever since. I don't think it's something that someone with little r/c experience should jump in to - it's not the easiest thing to drive. I've been racing for the better part of 20 years and it took me a few hours to get used to it. But once you get the hang of it, you can get them to turn pretty tight. I got to the point where I could lock the rear wheel and pivot the bike around obstacles. Sounds strange, but you can almost feel the bike when you're blasting full throttle out of a corner, the rear tire barely able to maintain traction. If you've got a pretty good grasp on piloting an r/c car, then by all means, get one of these things!
