Well, if there were ever an incentive that works, it is good ol' cash.
Win a big race, get money from "signature" parts. Seems pretty simple. I guess I better start practicing :p

Cool. Too bad I got a TC3... Hey, the servo mounts may be universal, and I wonder if the battery strap will fit my TC3... :D :p

Any bets on how long it takes Losi to come out with a XXX-S Kinwald / Francis version?

Wouldn't it be a Jason Corl version?

whoever gets their name on it, I don't think it will be soon. Look how long it took for the Kinwald/Framncis editions of the XX, XXX, and XXXT took to come out, after the initial kit release. I bet it will be a while, like when the sales of the regular XXXS drop off a bunch in a year or so.

I dunno. It took Losi like a month and a half to come out with every part in graphite, so everyone who already spent $200 on the kit would go out and spend another $150+ upgrading it to graphite specs.

So, in like 4 months when everyone has upgraded their cars to graphite and pretty much bought a $350+ XXX-S, they'll release a XXX-S (insert driver name here) version with some pretty color on it for around ~$230.

Jerks. :)

wow... how did this go from "Trinity/Matt Francis option parts for the XXX-S" to "Bash Losi"?

I wasn't trying to bash Losi, they're not the only ones doing it. But it just seems that the cars should come with this stuff from the get-go. Not the bare minimum. I'm sure it doesnt cost much more to make a graphite chassis than a standard composite one... and so on.
