I think it will adjust the endpoints and torque, but I'm not sure  .

I'm guessing it programs many of the servo's parameters: end-points, speed, sweep, etc.

it sets up the servo end point ,also it sets up a fail safe in the servo you know in case you lose power "the full throttle syndrome " to return servo to idle or even full brake :p :p :p :p

I have no digital servos, I do plan on getting one but for that one 80 dollar servo. I do not plan on spending 140 dollars on a programmer. Maybe If I was Racing 1/8 or 1/10 Nitro.

It is often used by RC flyers that need to setup two or more servos so they are exactly the same . If you check with flyers they'll tell you that without one it a very tough if not impossible job to get perfect. I've personally never seen a good enough reason for one with Rc cars. many hoby stores that specillizse in RC planes have them and charge a small fee to program.

yup, those programmers are pretty cool.

you can even program the built-in failsafe in Hitec's Digital-servos... a bit too expensive, though.

The Programer adjusts, dead band, center and end points, speed, and a failsafe position w/o PCM
