Knowing my luck, it won't hit Australian shores till next year...

I'm just hooked in by the simple layout and shaft drive...

Hey I'm surprised no one has started a Nitro TC3 topic in the cars forum yet...

ChumsGum: There is a huge Model and Hobby Expo in January at the Pasadena Civic Auditorium. It used to be called the International Modeler Show (IMS) but I understand now it is run by the AMA but is the same show. I have not been in 10+ years and am looking forward to going this coming January since I heard it is still going on.

It used to be a "selling" show, so leave your checkbook and credit cards at home or else you will be bankrupt by the end of the day! :D

I remeber the Pasadena show. I haven't been there since '91 or '92. I can't find any information on the 2002 show. The last one was Jan 19th-21st this year. It will probably be around the same time in Jan.

RC10Dude & DJ (Colorado folks):

Open a track! Open a track! lol

If I knew of an outdoor offroad nitro track, I'd be all over it. Prolly volunteering as well... Although Berthoud's a bit of a drive for me, as I live in the Congress Park neighborhood of Denver. But I'm used to driving, what with MHOR Raceway so far away from me too (for parts, no nitro offroad track there  )...

SteveP, I just wanted to drop by and say hi. I think it was an excellent idea to cover the Chicago hobby show like this. This is probably the only way for people like me to get news about the Chicago hobby show.
Thanks SteveP for all your hard work and keep up the great work even for those people on the other side of the Globe. :)

I was just told that a user over at the RCMT site stole the images and text appearing here and re-posted it over on their site. If any of you are members over at RCMT, please tell them that I think it's pretty low (not to mention all material posted on a website is copywrited, but we won't get into that) to steal this information without even giving even a hint of credit to the people that took the time and went to tremendous expense (us) to bring you this information. No class at all...

They said I should have something soon. Not before the show is over. They had a printout of a CAD drawing. I could have taken a picture of the printout, but the CAD drawings are concealing enough without losing even more detail. I should know more soon.

No problem Steve, :) I understand that the internet has its advantages, but its also a huge black hole for content and copyright. I've had lots of people take the pictures from my cars and trucks and rc stuff in general, and then I find it all over claimed as theirs!

TSR6

NXT - No, the cars that you could drive were not brushless. The brushless cars were kept in the glass case, but the Novak guys did run the cars a couple times on the wheel rollers.. But the cars never left the case.
