Ummm... as far as I know, Lexan (what your E-Pede's body is made out of) IS a type of plastic. If you bash the truck a bit too much, it will crack. Unfortunately, there is not much you can do to prevent that, short of keeping your new body on a shelf in your bedroom. :D

okay just take some double-sided tape and put it on the body where it getz hit this will work as a bumper for the body and will resist cracking.i'll post a pic of what i mean when i get home from skool.

Actually I would recommend putting the double sided tape in strategic positions. For example, I had/have a S2000 body where the wheel cutouts in front basically meet the hood. The effect is that where the top of the wheel cutout is, the plastic is almost completely flat and flimsy. Putting the tape here would have more sense than putting the tape on the bumper in front.

Unfortunately for that S2000 body I rolled the car and actually burned/tore a hole in the lexan on a curve.

yeah red...i was stuck for an answer and that's the best i could do at the moment. Actually I was trying to get of the antiBob "guest" login guy.
Now for an answer...Polycarbonate has a great deal of give to it- that's what makes it so ideal for RC bodys...once they become overflexed to often in the same spot the stresses eventually crack the body. Me thinks that this body has been whumped a few too many times. Go get some DuraTrax body repair tape and epoxy it over the damaged portions of the body.
