I saw on some site, I dont know if it was a forum or a private site, that a guy did build a 6 wheel drive tmaxx. and the back tires were powered! I cant remeber where I saw it though! It took a lot of costum work to do I think

True, I am sure that Clodbuster is easier than T-MAXX or E-MAXX. I think nitro is too tough to make 6x6x6 with an engine and E-maxx is unique with two motors - - could be difficult to add gear in rear of E-maxx.:D

I read about a guy on another board that built a 6x6x2 Maxx.He extended the rear skids and built a top skid to sandwich the two rear axle assemblys together. Then he took two rear diff housings cut them in half and put the two halves with output shafts together.Voila, instant feed through diff, add a short jack shaft, and you have 6 wheel drive.

Would Traxxxas be gladly to make 6x6x6 monster trucks? 6x6x6 sounds very cool to climbing up on the hill real fast and bashing on the snow. How Traxxxas would make 6x6x6 monster trucks - first Traxxxas have to get zillion emails from people who want 6x6x6 monster trucks then Traxxxas will fed up of emails and start make one. hehehehe:D :) ;) :p

it looks like theres a drive shaft to the rear axle i would think if there wasnt, the drive tires would be doing a lot of spining when the rear axle would come off the crest of a hill it would tend to lift the front drive axle off the ground.

Oh by the way all the pics on that site are mostly of his t-maxx, if you want to see pics of his e-maxx go under project pictures, and they are all of the e-maxx, and its awesome! he spliced to diffs in half and made a uni - diff, this is great!

I know what you mean, i could be able to do that, i havew an extra front end, rear end, skidplates and a diff, the only problems are i don't have extra shocks, the skidplate would be hard to make, the diff reguires tons of skill, and most importantly where and how would i get a body for that thing?

Nitroboy, You can ask him how he'd got body for 6WD.

I woulder how it will steer with the twin screw on the back, they may tend to push the truck forward when you try to turn. maybe not

Hey....I never thought about something really cool for Emaxx.. You could make 50 cells battery for 6WD cuz it is large and have enough room for 50 cells battery. That gonna be fast as hell! hehe

Bah, There was one made by a old friend of mine at maxxtraxx that was powered with the extra set of wheels.

which one stupid? the one i posted a link to?...oh and 50 cells would be a complete over kill, 50 * 1.2 = 60 volts, and a whopping amerage, teh truck would be extremely slow, because the size and weight of the motor(s) would weigh it down extremely! Not a bright idea Eternal!
