I've been wanting to do some sort of paint job for my GT that involves outer space. I was thinking maybe having the sun on the whole front of the truck, and all 9 planets on the rest of the body, or maybe having the earth on the front of the truck where it looks like you're just out of the atmosphere and there is a meteor shower. Maybe put the moon on the back. Another idea was maybe a supernova or black hole or nebula looking thing. I would mainly like to do something involving mother nature's violent side like maybe something involving tornado's, earthquakes, volcano's, tsunami's, whatever. If anybody could give me any suggestions for any kind of cool paint job and some tips, I would appreciate it. I've already done a couple lightning paint schemes, now I need some new ideas! Any info is appreciated! Matt

well if you want the sun do like a circle with small flame masks on the outside and airbrush it just like you would fire. use circles for planets and airbrush them different colors. stars are made by making white dots all over the body and then using dark blue and black and simalar paints to fill in the backround

Yep. Stars will be the easy part. I figured I'd just use my paint marker. I also thought I might try and find a poster with all the planets on it and cut each one out and use the elmers glue method and glue them inside the body. They'd have to be the right size of course. I don't think I'd have any problem painting the sun. Matt
