Well, first of all, the NMT is small (1/10) and the ground clearance is low. It's more of a 4WD stadium truck it seems, so if you like stadium trucks and want one that handles well and will jump and climb get that one. If you want a big MT get either the T-Maxx I guess or the MP. And from there you should just use the search feature and check out what everyone else has posted about this topic or just research the 2 trucks. I'll tell you the basic theme of all those discussions. (And others reading this, I'm not saying what I think, just what has been said.): The MP is a great truck and you don't need to do much to it to make it even better, but the T-Maxx needs a .21 engine (which the MP comes with) to make it be able to compete with the MP. With the .21, the T-Maxx is a great truck, but some plastic parts need to be replaced because the T has a lot of plastic, and the new engine will cost you big bucks, where you could have just gotten the MP with the .21 and be off. The MP contains a lot of metal parts. But the T is more popular for now and its major advantages are parts availability (not many hobby shops have Ofna parts, so you'll be ordering parts) but everybody supports Traxxas and T-Maxxes, and hop-ups and aftermarket parts because the aftermarket pounced on the T-Maxx ever since it came out and offered many alternative parts and options like tires and pipes. The T also comes with a 2-speed and the MP doesn't but they are available for the MP. The T has
reverse too. The T comes RTR, and the MP comes 80% assembled, without radio. The costs: T-Maxx RTR with a .15=$410.00. MP with a .21 and no radio=$270.00. Buy a radio and good servos and the MP will cost around $400.00. You decide. I have an MP. I hope I didn't sound bias toward either truck, I tried to present fact not opinion.

BAG,
Tough call. I have all three.
The .21 MT is insanely fast and will give you an adrenaline rush. It will also test your reflexes, as it is bullet. It's too light and not very surefooted in extreme off road terrain.
It's light weight works against it. It flies in the air on the smallest bumps and makes spectacular crashes.
It excels on smoother dirt tracks, on road, or mild offroad terrain.
Nothing will catch it.
The .21 T Maxx is great for extreme offroading and jumping. This truck is an aerial acrobat. It likes to fly through the air.
It's weakness is its high center of gravity and soft suspension. It flips over easily, and is not very stable at high speeds. (40+mph).
The MP is a great high speed, handling off road monster truck. It is very stable and rarely flips over. It is very stable due to its thinly disguised 1/8 buggy heritage and sway bars. With its huge tires, it handles like a go kart.
It does not have T's suspension travel, and will bounce on extreme terrain when it bottoms out.
With the stock Flintstone sized monster tires, it is not a good jumper. The heavy weight of the tires makes it really butt heavy on jumps, and it likes to flip over backwards.
If you let off the throttle, it likes to nosedive.
With a little practice, it can jump, but not as easily as the T.
Changing to smaller T type tires will make it a much more graceful and agile jumper like the T.
However, those steamroller tires will run over just about anything, or kick it out of the way. I've rarely gottten stuck offroad. The MP will just power right through stuff that the T would get stuck in and spin its wheels.
So, if you want blinding speed, go .21 MT Racer. If you love jumping and massive air, .21T. If you like high speed offroading and handling, go MP.
Or you could get all three.
They all have different personalities.
I mean, really, is a blonde better than a brunette, or redhead?
