An own design sports plane!!

Here's a plane i designed myself with only one thing in mind!!!.The model has a 30 inch wingspan,the wing is carved from 5/8th balsa. It has an Irvine 53 with tuned pipe running a 10x9 prop.I have timed it over a distance and worked out that it travels at about 170 mph.With a Dub Jett 50 i reckon speeds well over 200mph are easily achievable!!.

If you ever get serious about speed flying, I expect sonic booms! Do you hand launch, or fly off a dolly? My reflexes would lose that bird on the first turn! What do you have in the way of a flite pack? The vibration levels must be awesome in that fuselage and it speaks very well for the gear you have installed (and most likely your mounting methods). Thanks for sharing the photo.

The model is hand launched and believe it or not there is very little vibration as the tuned pipe soaks it all up!.I use futaba 3003 servos with a 600mah battery pack.But i do like to use a good reciever!.Here's a pic of the first design prior to the white one.
