Old Tamiya

I have a Tamiya Blazing Star (same as Manta Ray, Dirt Thrasher). I want to find out if there are parts from other brands that will fit it. Specifically, I'm looking for suspension parts, Shock Towers, Turnbuckles, maybe even A-arms. I would also really like to find some CVD's to fit it.

I did add a Kyosho shock set to it, and it's worked out great so far.

Any information would be helpful (I'm not interested in getting another car though.) Thanks!

Welcome to the board spanglieon. I too have a Blazing Star and have modified it with turnbuckles and a composite chassis from the old Tamiya Top Force. Aside from new shocks, turnbuckles, and ball differentials, there isn't too many hop-up options for the Blazing Star. The FRP and composite chassis have been discontinued so they are hard to find. They pop up every once in a while on Ebay.
