How many of you out there are blessed with at least one RC specialized hobby shop with in at least one hour drive? I have only seen 2 hobby shops that specialize in rc, but i havent been around. My hobby shop is called Cellar Dweller Hobby Supplies http://www.cellardwellerhobby.com
it has been around since 1972 i think, a lot longer than me, and the service is friendly, and the owner will even look at something and do tests on it for free.
everyone tell me about your lhs's!

there is one lhs around me, well 2 but the other one has really high prices and not a great selection. The good one specializes mostly in airplanes but the car section is growing sence we hooked the owner on racing ;)

the closest one to me is 15 min. it is about 50/50 slot cars and rc. But I hate his hours 6-10 mon, tues, thurs, fri, and 2-10 sat and 2-6 sun then we got a hobby town usa 30 min away, mostly junk in my opinion, over priced Discount hobbies mostly airplanes, then a small shop 40 min away mostly associated parts.

I got a LHS about 15 minutes away, and we are all freinds to each other. All the LHS employees joke around with the racers, and we bash on them work having to work while we race and stuff. Its really cool. And, its not supposed to be geared towards R/C, but it is in reality.
