First off, lets not start a flame war here please...LOL...

Well, I've got lots of Nitro cars and since its getting COLD around here, I thought it would be neat to have some little electrics to zip around inside the house on the hardwood (or in the garage) to fill up the winter time......

Your opinions and experiences with either of these would be greatly appreciated...... I'm going to buy 2 of whichever one.....

I've also got 2 spare am radios (different freq's), and some servos, so these have no bearing on the decision.....

Thanks....

Both are expensive, micro is just a piece of plastic. You will spend alot of money upgrading it.

I don't like them both, but if I were you I'll get a mini-Z. The size you can play it anywhere in your house.

I've got both Mini-Z and Micro RS4. The Mini-Z is far more nimble than the Micro and you can make a decent track for it on a ping-pong table. Hop-ups are easily found making it fun to own. It's small, but very fast and the bodies are very realistic and detailed.

The Micro RS4 is a bit bigger than the Mini-Z and less nimble, but it offers 4wd and handling very similar to that of a 1/10. You have to install your own electronics which I like since you can pick and choose the gear to suit you best. You can also build your own battery packs if you choose or just use 4 AA or AAA cells with the supplied battery holder. I like my Micro RS4 to run with a 5 cell AA Ni-MH pack or a 6 cell AAA pack I made for more speed than 4 cells.

If you have a large garage or an indoor carpet track nearby, I suggest the Micro RS4. It has more potential than the Mini-Z and possibly may start a whole new racing class for 1/18 cars. If space is a problem, go with the Mini-Z. You'll also save more cash with the Mini-Z as it is about $150 for everything you need, and the Micro RS4 is about $100 just for the kit. Adding electronics would add about another $100 depending on the radio and ESC. Since you already have a radio, all you need is a small ESC.

Thanks... Looks like I'll probably get 2 of the Micro RS4's... (I was leaning that way anyways, since I've heard alot about the mini z's being kinda 'fragile'.... ie die if crashed....

sees ya....
