Old RC Plane model

Twenty two years ago I built a Pilot kit from OK Models called "The Stephens Akro". Recently I took again the hobby after retiring and on finishing the plane - it uses a .25 two stroke engine- I was interested in finding if it still exists. I couldn't find any reference. It has some similarities to the Edge and maybe more to the Shoestring.
Was it an original model or it took its design from an existing plane?

Hello Albert,
There was(still is) a full scale homebuilt airplane called the Stephens Akro. It was the prototype for the Laser aircraft built by Leo Lodenslager. Pilot stopped selling the kit a few years ago.
