View Full Version : RTR = Ready to Return

I bought a RTR about a 2 weeks ago and its Died about a week ago. I am not going to get into what company I want to see if they try to make things right. (Better give me something for free) Well I got 2 runs out of it until the ESC went bad. Now I have to wait prob up to 2 weeks fefore I can run it again. There is something wrong there. If they just fix it and send it back I doubt I will buy from them again. If they do give me something anything really anything just to kinda say there sorry everything will be ok.

Is that wrong of me? To want something for nothing? Well its not nothing I paid alot of money and I expected to have a car that I could run and I didnt get it. Oh and no I didnt wreck it or anything I just got it I was treating it like a baby.

Well like my dad says ........... $hitz happens. Its ok to name the company on here cuz we have the crappy * coughs* duratrax * coughs* and the good * coughs* traxxas *coughs* company's narrowed down so sock it to us! :)

Things happen, if they give you something for the trouble, great, if not, hey, they fixed it. Don't expect them to give you stuff just because you had some bad luck and got a bum item. Why didn't you take it back to were you got it? Speaking of crappy things (cough) OFNA (cough)

LOL OK I will go ahead and say it was a E-Maxx and that new fancy ESC didnt last 3 runs. I guess I got a Bum item but under normal situations when you get something bum you wont go back and try it again. I am just so dissapointed in spending over $300 and only getting 2 runs out of it. This was my first RTR and my 6th rc car this year and I have had beter luck with all of them and most were used. Anyway its off in the mail and I guess I will have it back in 2 weeks or so.

Mabey you got a fualty ESC. Its happens every once in awhile ... not EVERYTHING is perfect .... just look at me, need i say more? :p :D

was it the novak evx or the original esc that first came with the kit when released?

Its was the New ESC I just bought it from Tower. It was not getting power from one of the batts so it was running at 7.2v. It was like it would be if the connector was broke or something but it was not and no it was not my battery either, and no the wire was not loose either.
